I always lust over trying to do Remix. And every year I remember that I a) don't write enough in popular fandoms and b) don't write enough in general. I think last year I wrote five full-length fics. And they were all for Yuletide or another fic exchange. And for vaguely common fandoms, I wrote about eight commentfics for comment_fic.

I wish I could write more, but it seems like every time I start trying to write for myself (as opposed to having an externally imposed deadline and a fic recipient) I just flail and shut down. Which sucks because Remix is the sort of thing I'd do well with-- if I could write enough to qualify for it.

I've been pasting bits of my fic/fic ideas with some friends over IM, and they've been doing the same to me- I know we al care for each other's fics and whatnot (even if one of them doesn't care for MST)
