So, I really, really enjoy fics about an outsider dealing with cultish, semi-military families/groups.

of course, I just really like fish-out-of-water stories. Also, all ridiculous AUs ever. (comixologist can tell you just how many crazy-ass badfic AUs I link her to regularly.)
